First prize includes:

• A 35 hour recording, mixing and mastering package at Grevillea Studios plus 100 CDs with 2 or 4 page fold-out.
• Artwork and photography by Blackbox Multimedia.
• The Winners Gig. This is a gig put on by BrisbaneMusos for the winning band/solo artist which will be also involve a high stature Brisbane based band. The Winners gig will be hosted by Michael Jordan who worked for many years at B105.3fm.
• Bris31 TV special presentation. This half hour program will include interviews with the band, footage of the Grevillea recording and footage of the winners gig. This will be collaborated and edited by Blackbox Multimedia.
• The potential for bigger and better things, given you were judged winner by EMI, have performed with a high stature Brisbane group and have a great recording!!!

Second prize:

• $1000 music store voucher, to be redeemed at Billy Hyde Music.
• The second prize will be drawn out at The Winners Gig. Winner of second prize must be present at the winners gig at the time of draw or it will be re-drawn.

Entry fee of $25 applies to all entrants due to the extravagance of the prizes, and because we are paying for them!

Entrants must provide biographies and preferably photos.

Terms And Conditions

1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open to residents of Queensland who and are based at The Gold Coast, The Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Toowomba.
3. Entrants must be a member of www.BrisbaneMusos.com.
4. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
5. The competition commences Monday July 4th and closes 5pm Friday November 4th.
6. There is no limit to the style of music or group/solo that can enter.
7. BrisbaneMusos accept no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries, nor for any demo discs damaged in transit.
8. Judging will be done by representatives of BrisbaneMusos, Grevillea and EMI Australia. Winners will be notified by phone and by mail, and on BrisbaneMusos.com.
9. As previously stated, winner of 2nd prize must be present at the time of draw at the Winners Gig in order to ensure a crowd for the winning band.
10. BrisbaneMusos reserves the right to changes the conditions of entry at any stage.
11. The First Prize recording must be used by 31st April 2006 at a mutually convenient time between the winning band/solo artist and Grevillea.
